A renovation, a demolition job or a shed that finally has to be emptied: before you know it there is a sizeable pile of metal. Individual trips to the recycling centre then cost a lot of time. A container placed on your own site is the easiest solution. But which size do you need? Here is an overview.
Which container sizes are there?
At RJMK we work with a few standard sizes, so there is a suitable skip for every job. The 20m³ container is ideal for heavy metal such as iron, steel and mixed scrap. The 30m³ is the standard for medium-sized projects and residual metals. The 40m³ is meant for the largest volumes and light, bulky streams. And for small, valuable remnants or material that must be liquid-tight, there is the pallet box.
How do you choose the right size?
Think mainly about the type of metal and the space you have. Heavy iron takes little volume but a lot of weight, so a smaller, strong skip is often enough. Light streams such as sheeting or profiles fill a large container quickly. Not sure? Send a photo via WhatsApp and we advise right away which size fits.

The best part: with regular collection we place the container free of charge and charge no rent. When the skip is full, we usually swap it within 24 hours. That way there is never a standstill on the work floor.
